On Monday 2 November 2026, the CHESS Release 2 Failover and Recovery Guide was published, providing Software Providers and CHESS Users with guidance to support preparation for failover and recovery testing during the Release 2 industry testing phases. Further details can be found here.
On Friday 30 October 2026, we published the CHESS Release 2 Drop 5 User Technical Documentation (UTD), providing updated technical specifications and supporting information to assist stakeholders in preparing for Drop 5. Further details can be found here.
On Wednesday 21 October 2026, ASX published a new Issuer update including, a recording and newsletter to help Issuers understand the CHESS Project, upcoming changes and how to prepare for key milestones. Further details can be found here.
On Tuesday 6 October 2026, we completed deployment of Release 2 Drop 3 to the Industry Test Environment (ITE2), enabling Software Providers to reconnect and continue build, test and readiness activities, with Release Notes and supporting documentation now available. ASX Resilience, in partnership with ASX Clearing and Settlement, is inviting organisations to register their interest in participating in the CHESS Industry-Wide Resilience Exercise, an industry-wide cyber-driven resilience exercise scheduled for Tuesday 4 May 2027, 1.00pm - 4.00pm AEST.
