quarter ended 30 June 1998:

TABCORP HOLDINGS LIMITED

(a) Number of TAHWAA warrants bought back during quarter         Nil 
    Number of TAHWAA warrants exercised during quarter           Nil 
    Number of TAHWAA warrants currently outstanding 
    as at 30.06.98                                        16 million 

(b) As at 30.06.98 ANZ Bank held a relevant interest in 2,202,611
    fully paid ordinary shares in Tabcorp Holdings Limited, 
    comprising 0.73% of the issued capital of that Listed Entity.

LIHIR GOLD LIMITED

(a) Number of LHGWAA warrants bought back during quarter         Nil 
    Number of LHGWAA warrants exercised during quarter           Nil 
    Number of LHGWAA warrants currently outstanding 
    as at 30.06.98                                        40 million

(b) As at 30.06.98 ANZ Bank had the power to vote and power to
    dispose of 15,388 fully paid ordinary shares in Lihir Gold 
    Limited, comprising less than 0.01% of the issued capital of 
    that Listed Entity.

OIL SEARCH LIMITED

(a) Number of OSHWAA warrants bought back during quarter         Nil 
    Number of OSHWAA warrants exercised during quarter           Nil 
    Number of OSHWAA warrants currently outstanding 
    as at 30.06.98                                        50 million

(b) As at 30.06.98 ANZ Bank had the power to vote and the power to
    dispose of 1,524,097 fully paid ordinary shares in Oil Search
    Limited, comprising 0.33% of the issued capital of that Listed
    Entity.

OROGEN MINERALS LIMITED

(a) Number of OMLWAA warrants bought back during quarter         Nil 
    Number of OMLWAA warrants exercised during quarter           Nil 
    Number of OMLWAA warrants currently outstanding

(b)  As at 30.06.98 ANZ Bank did not have the power to vote or the 
     power to dispose of any fully paid ordinary shares in Orogen 
     Minerals Limited.

BRAMBLES INDUSTRIES LIMITED
